Chase the gloom. . With blooms

Situation : Been doing layouts, writing about how our idea is better than others, thinking exotic with TSP – energy minimization – optical solution for TSP – QCA.. feeling tired and sleepy, along with a sense of a cloud of gloom slowly descending on me!

Time : The sun has just peeped out. . 6.05am. . Hey that means its the perfect time for some photography!

Venue : Philips Lab. . Ah. .that means my camera and tripod are right there and I can go clicking all the way from department to hostel πŸ™‚

Result : A good 90minsΒ  usefully “wasted” crouching near small flowers, making slippers super-dirty. . AND clicking these nice shots (yaaay. .i’m happy with myself for these πŸ˜€ )

Side-effects :

  1. All the morning-walker junta confirming that this is one crazy soul turned 100% perfectly insane after stepping foot into IIT life. . (fortunately/unfortunately, this junta includes Bala Sir!)
  2. Almost barking at the all-too-duty-conscious security guard who decides that flowers are copyright-IITD and that his foremost duty is to bombard anyone who is trying to make illegal copies of their beauty with a 1001 questions!! Or is a camera the new RDX and a tripod its detonator? πŸ˜›
  3. Hitting the pillow results in seeing everything dew-covered in my dreams. . EVERYTHING. . right from flowers to laptop to mess bread pakoda!!!

Attached : Observations from the experiment – The best shots of the session

These little dewys were the sole reason for me not jumping into a debate with the security junta!

A rose is a rose is a rose. .but it becomes a sweeter rose with dew

Very very nice pictures! Against my bias (towards extremely girlish stuff) I say.. these are extremely good.

    • @andronicus : Halo. . since when did appreciating nature become “girlish”??

hmmm… specific details in nature.. are girlish.. (unfortunately I know.. πŸ™‚ ) no but seriously.. dont you think so.

    • @andronicus : well then, in that case, i should probably stop interpreting “girlish” to be “nearly childish”
